Default Question about the V6 X-pipes

I'm just curious here, but am I to assume that the X-pipes are direct bolt ons for the stock headers. And when it says that they need to use a "GT Catback from the same model year", what does that mean?

You need to use a GT catback system for the same model year of your car.

I.E. V6 X-Pipe for a 1998 Mustang means you need a GT Catback that will fit a 1998 Mustang.

Cool, that's what I thought it meant, I just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
