Different venom 1000 kits??

Different venom 1000 kits??
ok i have a 04 mustang gt and i need to know what kind of venom 1000 kit i need? my bud has the vcN49-134 kit for his 5.0 mustang. it doesnt look different from the kits you guys sell. its brande new and never used. do you know the difference?? i can get it for cheap and want to know if i just need to buy a part for it to work on my car. thanks

because if you look on hear it says its for a 5.0? do i just get a new box? how much would that be?

It will work fine with your car, The only thing that will be different with that kit is the directions, witch tells you if you have a 5.0 with wires to splice, if you were t buy that then you have to call venom and ask them for the sheet that has tells you witch wires to splice. let me tell you how it is hooked up-
There are 8 orange wires witch splice into each fuel injector, there are 2 wires with each injector, one red and one a different color, the oreange wired splice into the different colored wires, not the red ones, and one wire injector will have two wires in it, the one wire is for ignition on power for the system
Another wire splice into the TPS throttle position sensor ( for the wide open throttle switch) with it the gray with a white stripe.
And finaly the o2 sensor splice witch was the black wire. This reads your a/f ratio.
as long as all those wires are there I dont see why it wouldnt work

Yep, no problem, I was going to put it on ebay anyway, when you get it if you have any questions about installing PM me. Also even if it doesn't work you can sell it for a lot more than this guy wants for it, but i really beleieve it will work

i heard there was a install video or somthing but i cant find it. i found a thing about the venom kit but no install write up. also i called Python Injection and they seem to have really bad costomer service because there is no directory or anything.

Call Python Injection and ask for Jose. Tell him you are a Mustang Tuning customer and ask him about this kit and if it will work on your car.
I suspect that the computer needs to be replaced or re-programmed, but he will tell you.
