Default Running Hot

95 Mustang GT 5.0

My Mustang is running hot, I have replaced the thermostat and had the radiator flsuhed and it run on the white line just before the redzone. Could it just be a bad temp gauge? The fan is working also, not sure what else could cause it to run so hot. Yes the thermostat is put in correctly

Did you verify that the thermostat is openning? The stock gauges are somewhat useless and can be all over the place. You could also test the sensor fairly easily w/ a multimeter to see if it's putting out the correct voltage.

Have you replaced the water pump also? The impelled could be broken off causing no circulation of coolant.
