Default Clutch Cable

Hey guys, my clutch cable decided to go BYE BYE today, and i noticed a darn! good price on this kit http://www.mustangtuning.com/mutucladkit.html but i was wondering if it would fit my 88 gt????? Thx for the help

doesnt say but if not cjpony parts offers some good stuff for 88s i know i use them

it should. Nick has that kit in his '93 Pony.

It works great in my '93 GT. Use the 3rd hook on the quadrant, the one farthest from the firewall. Only a 30min install from start to clean-up to popping open an ice cold beer.

One word of advise if you have headers. My BBK headers came a little too close to the cable, about a half inch away and melted the plastic coating, seizing my cable a little over a week after I installed it (My factory cable also seized probably from the same condition). I installed a 2nd kit but wrapped the cable in some header wrap and black duct tape to protect it from the heat. I've had it installed for about 6 months now through the blazing summer heat and have had no problems at all now that I have the wrap on the cable.
