My mustang has a Cervinis ram air hood on it and when I bought the car it was already on it. It has the regular hood latch and hood pins, but I ordered the secondary/safety latch for it cause its not on it. Where does it go??? anyone with a foxbody, if you could take a pic of under your hood so I can see where it goes this would be extremely helpful...Thanks

haha! not really...just want it on for an extra precaution, like you could forget to put your hood pins in and hit the freeway and bam! Anyway alot of stories have been going around about people aftermarket hoods coming up and I don't want to be one of them. I'm saving for wheels not for body damage. lol

as soon as i saw hood latch i had to tune in... what ever u do make sure it works, my dad wants to buy me functional hood pins lol.. i was like umm, on a 260 hp car? lol

 

yea I'm not a fan of hood pins either but they do atleast serve a purpose

 

i have hood pins (on my racecar), but we use four, two front and two back. but we take off our whole hood to look at the engine. and it is kinda freaky when part of your hood raises up because you forgot the pin... extra protection is not a bad idea
