Which Short Throw is the best?

Not even man, If you were to see the shifters themselves you see a major engineering difference. The MGW allows you control of where the shifter is, which is nice.
But I haven't used an MGW either, but my brother's KB01GTvert had a pro 5.0 which was very nice (it wasn't a 3650, but w/e), and I have heard even better things about the MGW, so if it can be better than that, it must be excellent.

on my 94 V6 5-speed i had a steeda tri-ax, and now on my 2002 GT 5 speed i also have a tri-ax. i also happen to know the designer of the item, Dan Carleson of Realspeed Performance.
I like it because its a short smooth shift but not too short. it defintely gets rid of the sloppines you get from the stock shifter. i'm a tall guy with long arms, but i didn't want to have to reach when i shift like i have had to do with other shifters in different cars.

I have owned Pro 5.0, hurst competition, mgw, and steeda.
Hurst was ok and looked great with the chrome stick and white ball, but you have to use the crappy rubber boot instead of factory one which sucked.
steeda, was ok, smooth shifts but not short enough.
mgw is very nice and smooth, but, some good hard shifts at dragstrip and you will have to re-tighten and re-align the way you want it.
pro 5.0 i had in two different cars and for good reason. I shifted the crap out of it and never one problem. I also felt it was the shorter shift out of all.
Now grant it, we all have our favorite, mine of course is pro 5.0. But be careful in your decision because most people have only used one kind and will promote the shifter they have for whatever reason. It will end up in you using a couple different kinds of shifters till you find the best for you, well if you own enough stangs that is.
