Default 89 GT convt. Engine rebuild?

This is my issue ? Bought my first Fast Car a fox mustang convt., The engine has a popped soft plug ....This car has 72,600 miles? Want to go through the whole car upgrading and replacing as needed.

Looking to rebuild this motor myself? Race and build Super-Stock jet-skis so wrenching skills are sharp and patience is through the roof.

looking for a complete top end kit which is better Trick flow or Ford racing any ideas?

Then its time for the 5 lug conv , paint, and
new upholstry with carpet

Understanding this will take time and lots of Cash! Have the wifey`s blessing in writing
Have time and this fourm so let the rebuild begin
