Default help with performance rebuild on engine

Hello i am new to the site and need help with ideas on rebuilding my engine.I plan on using gt40p heads with cobra intake.Plus get the block bored .30 over.I need a good engine rebuild kit plus cam to go along with my ideas so far.My goal is to have a mean street machine with HP being in the range of 350-400 hp@the wheels.Any other suggestion welcome.Thanks

to put that much to the wheels you will need a power adder, or a better set of heads.

ide look at some of the newer offerings from TFS, Anderson ford motor sports, or your favorite cam company. i run an FMS cam bcause its used and cheap, but they technology is more than 15 years old, weve come a long way since then. ide look through the summit catalog/webpage and look for what fits in your budget.

look at like a 331 stroker motor for it, then throw on about a 100-150 shot and you will be set. check out coast high performance.

Thanks for your info.I have been looking in summit for 2 weeks.I plan on getting the engine done this weekend.

Thanks for your reply. I plan on getting the engine done this weekend.I am looking to spend $3000.00-$3500.00 in the rebuild.
