sorry to bother u guys so much :)
but i just installed a professional products 70mm throttle body on my 5.0
i wish someone would have told me u need to port the damn thing...but anyway i can do that another day. the car is idling funny. tb works fine, but after driving and u come to a stop the damn thing dies on ya. we played around with the rpms a bit from under the hood. so that it would be at around 600 in drive but it just dies at the light or when stopping.
advice would really help.

also meant to say installed the EGR spacer to match. also for those that did what i did, did ur stock intake piping end up getting alittle bunched up?? what were ur ways of solving that??? did u just go fab ur own piping? cuz i have the K&N huge filter also...that big cone thing that sends u 6 horsepower dyno sheet

Did you check your TPS voltage? Double check your IAC valve and vacuum lines (and harnesses).
Sounds like bad TPS setting or vacuum leak.
If it is the correct EGR spacer and TB, it shouldn't cause any fitament issues with the intake tract? Are the new spacers and TB the same length assembled as the old ones?

no we didnt check the TPS voltage. cuz i left the stock TPS on......the company sent us another TPS but i kept it as a spare. my dad also said it might be the TPS. i doubt its the IAC valve. we cleaned everything we took off. i mean everything. i wish i would of cleaned the intake manifold, it has so much black carbon in there...ewwww. time to get a new upper and lower manny.
as for the intake piping. u know the rubber/plastic hose that comes with the fox body? well after we installed the EGR spacer, and TB. it sticks out just alittle bit longer then the stock one. so when we got the intake hose over the TB it seemed to me a bit bunched up. maybe i can get some pics to show u.

I see, you're talking about getting bunched up where the intake tube hooks onto the throttle body? (I think)
That will happen b/c you're going bigger around so you have to stretch it to get it on. If that's the case, depending on how bad it's bunched up, you might be getting unmetered air in there and causing issues.
One of my favoritte things to do was to forget to plug my MAF back in. It still runs but like crap.

well TPS problem is fixed. just need to play with the idle speed a bit to get it right also. i think the TPS was at .48 lol b4. now its .94 lol.
i doubt its the MAF i never touched it during the TB installation. maybe i can find some stuff around the house and make an intake tube to hold me for awhile. cuz i have yet to get a chance to feel the power of the 70mm TB.

Auto foxes have a Tranny-Line pressure adjustment in the throttle linkage called your TV cable adjutment. It might be out of whack too with the new setup.
I had an AOD 90 once and always ran it down to a local shop to have them check it after I was done tinkering (until I thrashed it for the last time and went with a manual C4 that kicked a$$)

Bump the idle up too.. around 800 in neutral/park would be a good start
