hey guys i have a question for other guys that have lowered ther fox body, i found a BBK lowering kit,for 300 what have u guys gone wit for ur cars i am wanting to go with the best possible and for a good price thanx

 

i got ford racing med's on my fox atm but i hate them car wont launch at the strip worth a crap, there to stiff and it wont lean back. the car handles nice though and they lowered it about perfect so it looks nice. ill prob throw the stockers in the back again and mess with the fronts till i get a good ride hight/launch.

how much is yours lowered im not sure but i want a bit lower

 

i belive its a 1" and 5/8 in the front and a 1" 1/2 in the rear. you may need to have youre fenders rolled if you want to go lower with a 89 if i remeber right they changed the fenders on 91-93 cars, but id doubble check that im not sure. also remeber that youll have bumbsteer issues as you lower the car, and the lower you go the worse the car will ride, but the better it will handel (to apoint)

 

ya my car is lowered about 2" rite now but its just cut springs or so the guy that i got it from said and it handles ok but i want real suspension and i need to replace the shocks anyways so i guess i will be use to the bumbsteer just it will handle better thanx alot tho and by the way nice stang

 

ok i cant decide on to either go with the bbk progressive lowering kit wich will lower roughly 1.5 for 300$ cdian or go with the specific kit and lower it like 2 or what ever i want not sure on that price for the specific kit but ill get bak to u guys,if any owners of fox bodies have theres lowered and acually know how much theyve lowered it u would help me out alot thanx guys
