Hi, I have a 94 gt mustang that i am building a 347 stroker motor for i have gt40p cast heads and also have a ATI Procharger that i am putting on it I want this car to run atleast 10's what would be a good cam for me????

 

I am not sure what set up you have, but I have those heads with a GT40 block and I must say, the E303 cam is well ground for the engine. Great power pand between 2500-4800, nice lope to. :evil1:

 

yeah i was leaning that way it seams like everone likes those E303 cams

 

hey drewbhot what set up do you have and do you like those heads i think they only flow about 204cfm but i think with forced induction i should be ok?

 

Well I have the GT40 block, trick flow intake, GT40p heads, yada yada yada, I am installing a vortech supercharger here shortly so when I had the engine built, I planned ahead for this. A buddy of mine uses the X303 with a supercharger and he wasn't happy. He said that the power band is really short, the lope is a little to rough, and it never seemed to run right. I contacted a machine shop to have a cam specifically ground for the supercharger set up, but he said it would be a waste of money. He said that the specs that matches our engines is identical to a E303, so that is what I did. I could feel the difference as you will, and with a supercharger....the cam and supercharger play really nice together!!!
