Default can you remove the front

can you remove the front air dam on fox mustangs? I want to put a different air dam one of them from maier raicing but does it just bolt on ?

What air dam? Are you talking about the little black plastic thing that hangs off the bottom of the radiator core support and routinely gets torn off? If so, that's just to (theorhetically) deflect air up into the radiator and assist in cooling. I took mine off ten years ago.

i see you have a lx, i THINK most of those "air dams" jus mount over yours now, i guess you could cut it off but its all one piece from top (at the hood) to the bottom and you need the top half or it would look um, like ****, and your new cover wouldnt be able to stay on. call the manufacturer and ask the sent directions, they will!

i called them up b4 and they said i can just remove mine and put theirs on but i cant figure out how to get mine off i dont c how it would seperate. ill just cut it off when i get the new 1 in and leave a lil room to mount the new 1 on.
