I live in one of those stupid areas where E-Check is a requirement! I was just wondering if anyone might know why most longtube headers say they are not emissions legal? I think I would like to get them but heard different opinions about them and shorties, if anyone has any advise, that would be great. Thanks all.

Theres several ways to do this...

You can do whatever you want w/ exhaust and pay a private inspector to give you a sticker...

or legally ya'll need catalitic coverters... they make high flow ones...

If you need to pass... and the LT headers you want are labeled as not emission passing headers... they dont buy them...

Shortys are good too...

It seems to me that you have a 302... I have a set of MAC equal length shorty headers... I love em... They will pass emissions...
