The Power of the Gears!!!!!!!!!!
Ok yall i know this is the one million thread about gears but i just want to know sum stuff about the gears n tlok for those of you who has them already....
i know that the numbers dont show up on the dyno but about how much HP/TQ would the gears n tlok give u??
Would these gears n tlok make you run with v8's from take off???
How bad will they improve my accel???\
And is there any other stuff i should know about these Gears?????
I have an Auto v6, getting the Motive Performance Plus 4.10 Gears, Motive Bearing Kit, Royal Purple Max Gear 75w90 Gear Oil, Ford Racing 7.5" 28 Spline Traction - LOK Limited Slip Differential (and its about time AM has it)
So please please leave a comment if uve had these gears installed.........

its not like invisible hp/tq.
It is a torque multiplier.
If you understood how they work you would understand how the question has no answer. Unless you want us to tell you you have 150hp now, and your car will accelerate like it has 170hp with stock gearing. But that is still wrong, because all of your gears will now top out at a slightly slower speed. You could do 60 mph at 1800 rpms in fifth before? now it will be 2100 rpms, because the gears are 20% 'shorter'

yes thats exactly wat i wanted to know
so i guess i will try not to be on the freeway alot after i get the gears ill just probaly stick with the 50mph roads, lol
and right now
60mph@1500rpms
70mph@1800rpms
80mph@2000rpms
with gears it will be
60mph@1900rpms
70mph@2100rpms
80mph@2300rpms
so is this right
