cold air intake kits

Default cold air intake kits

alright i have a v6 3.8 and i wanna buy a cold air intake kit for my mustang. does the kit come with everything including a thing to plug the air mass meter up to or is there anything else i might need to buy??

you use the mass air flow sensor from your stock intake and yes if you buy a CAI kit everything you need is included

just get one off ebay for like $50. go to 3.8mustang.com and do a search for ebay CAI.

yes its jsut the brand.

A cold air intake does not give you any significant changes in power to our little 3.8s.. not matter how much money you spend on it

not if you live in a place that smog is strict mine failed i had to get the k & N in order to pass.
it stupid it did the same thing it just was made buy a diffrent company that was certified

yeah, I did this and cut it to make it a ram air. K & N is a ton of money for the same thing as a cheap one. Waste of money

For the most part, I find that your just paying for the name. Ebay is ok but I've heard that some of them are kinda cheap. Just buy one from AM they are like 70 bucks and reliable.

P.S. The ones from AM come with EVERYTHING!! Check out the install i wrote for them:

Try monitoring your IAT's with it in the engine bay, and with it in the fender well.

i got one off AM $70 easy to install comes with everything you need no need to spend shyt load of money on k&n when they all do the same thing.

Default K&N All the Way

Buy the K&N. It's easy to install and it upped my mpg from 12 to 15. I also noticed increased power and sound.
