I own a v6 mustang 2005 21,00 miles. I need to know if on a stock engine gains more from a intercooled procharger/supercharger, a turbocharger, or something else. Also need to know a safe psi to not cause really any damage, what the actual hp gain is not the bullshited advertised gains, what componets i might need to really make it worth buying and effective. and possibly the best place to look for one not on the net. Anything yall might know about it i would appreciate it. Price limit what it takes.

IMO i would go with the turbo. Im not quite sure if anyone makes a turbo kit for the 05/06 V6s yet, but www.tmaturbo.com is a good place to start. Im sure if you contact them he'll be able to provide you with info. I know Teal_Beast used to have i think vortech, then procharger, and now finally a twin turbo on his 94 V6, and if im not mistaking he's said that if he'd do it all over again he'd go for the turbo off the bat. Hopefully he'll chime in here. welcome to the boards.

well the Procharger advertised gains are Real close.
also Powerhouse makes a turbo kit for the 05 v6s. TMA does not. also a intercooled set-up is the way to go with out a doubt. for procharger check out Delk performance. for the turbo look at Powerhouse.

You want to make as much power as you can safely at the least amount of boost.....that is the goal. A turbo should do better because ou don't have to drive the blower with a belt.
But, you also have to consider cost. More then likely a supercharger will be a lot less expensive....but I am not sure.

I cant say much for the 4.0 but my 3.8 made 309whp @11psi with a good exhaust on an otherwise stock engine, i should expect the 4.0 to make a bit more on the same pressure.
Although im not sure if the 4.0 is as good as the 3.8l as far as holding boost.
