I am looking in to an s/c. I am thinking about doing the mongoose kit with a vortech but i want to do cams and heads as well as other mods so... i don't think the normal tune that comes with the mongoose will cover all that. So i was thinking i would get a procharger or vortech but not the mongose kit and just get a custom tune. So mongoose kit, vortech or procharger. If the mong. kit tune will work for heads, cams etc. then i'll go with that but otherwise i think i'll go with procharger but i've heard good things about Vortech. LMK :glasses2:

with the power levels you reach from the mongoose kit or most other s/c kits, you won't have enough left in the stock motor for the cams. Thats why most places don't offer a tune for both.

With that said, the mongoose tune is custom tuned to whatever mods you have. If you want to add cams and have already built your motor, you may be able to get this through the mail order mongoose kit. If you live near GA, you can definately get it dynotuned for your cam selection.

Ive said it once, and Ill say it a million times again, there is no other kit as well planned and with as great a track record of safe operation than the Mongoose kit. Tim is amazing with what he does. His tune is what makes him the best and thats what everyone who has ever dealt with him or his kits will tell you. Good luck man, get the mongoose.
