Default quick question..

hey, whats up? anyhow, i was thinking about getting some Mac LT and a cam for my v6 but my friend was telling me its a big waste of money if i dont plan on racing with it. Is that true? well for right now at least I just want it to look and sound hot. how much is it to install LT and Cams? is it worth it? or is there other things I should add to make it sound better. All I have right now is a catback magnaflow dual exhaust. thanks for any advice.

Ok. First. I would hold off on the cam if you dont plan on racing it, just because out of all mods that you can do to your car the CAM can really hurt your gas milage.

As for the long tubes, enless you go with a power adder or some aftermarket heads/intake/cam you would have the power to push it.

Honestly if you only care about exhaust, pick your favorage muffler and call it a day

ive seen as much as 2 to 6 mpg on a v8. if u want power, get a catback for the grunt and get nitrous. the nice thing about nitrous is that you control when you want it.

Because a aftermarket cam is going to keep the valves open longer etc

more lift+duration etc the more gas is used (if your racing or not)

But the amount in drop is dependent upon the engine, cam, fuel set-up etc.
