hey, whats up? anyhow, i was thinking about getting some Mac LT and a cam for my v6 but my friend was telling me its a big waste of money if i dont plan on racing with it. Is that true? well for right now at least I just want it to look and sound hot. how much is it to install LT and Cams? is it worth it? or is there other things I should add to make it sound better. All I have right now is a catback magnaflow dual exhaust. thanks for any advice.

As for the long tubes, enless you go with a power adder or some aftermarket heads/intake/cam you would have the power to push it. Honestly if you only care about exhaust, pick your favorage muffler and call it a day

how bad does a cam make your gas mileage?

ive seen as much as 2 to 6 mpg on a v8. if u want power, get a catback for the grunt and get nitrous. the nice thing about nitrous is that you control when you want it.

Because a aftermarket cam is going to keep the valves open longer etc
more lift+duration etc the more gas is used (if your racing or not)
