I have an '07 V6 and I was wondering what the best upgrades for it are.
Is a supercharger made for the v6? I was told there is only a turbo out for it. Money isn't really an issue, I just want to know what would increase my power ![]() |

Procharger makes a supercharger for the v6 and I think there are a few other places....they will run you a few grand...
Exhaust, gears, pausi, suspension ...some of the best things you can do to help out with that power... If you go with a procharger/turbo you will need a dyno tune, but if you don't, you may as well get a tuner...SCT or Diablo both make great tuners... |

If the car is new and money is not an issue, why did you just not buy a GT from the start? For an extra 5-6 grand you would have gotten the equivalent of having a Supercharger for the most part plus all the other goodies.....and a warranty. You would also have a great platform for boosting that bitch and making double what a stock 6'er makes.
Don't get me wrong, modding a v-6 is fine, but you generally see it done on used cars where the initial spend is a lot less.

If you want nice power out of a ford V6 you either need some kind of power adder (turbo, supercharger, nitrous) or build the motor. Don't waste your time on the little mods just go big. Ofcourse stuff like exhuast, gears etc are always good because they'll help you out no matter what route you go.
