Default Harwood and fiberglass

He im looking into a fiberglass hood for my 00 mustang.

Im gonna buy it form summit racing since there is a warehouse where I live (reno,NV)

Im just wondering would it lighten up my car?

and if so would it lighten the front end so i dont get as good traction?

Also one last thing is that how well would it do in the elements. Thats my main concern. In the summer time it gets about 101-105 degrees and in the winter it gets around 30-20 degrees dry most of the time with some snow and high winds.

The harwood bolts directly on to the stock hinges which is a cool thing.
