Default mustang V6 vs buick GN

Will the Ford 3.8L fitted with a turbo yield as much HP and TQ as the Buick GN? Can it surpass the Buick numbers assuming its at the same amount of boost etc? Does the Buick 3.8L contain forged internals, if so can the stang v6 pull it off with stock internals at the same boost?
I saw these numbers and got to thinking.

i saw that teal beast is making about 400HP with a twin setup, can the Ford 3.8L make better numbers than the GN with a single turbo setup?

Any car can make good numbers with the right set-up and right tuning, doesnt matter if it's single or twins. Your better off not even worrying about a buick GN, you can make more power with a TMA Turbo kit dyno tuned well on stock internals. With Forged internals and headgaskets changed along with a good engine managment set up you can make some awsome numbers!

the Ford 3.8l (232ci) was made with the buick v6 in mind (3.8l 231ci)

The ford 3.8l actually has manny improvments over the buick V6.

the ford v6 comes with alluminum heads, it is also a true 90% v6, and it has a diffrent firing order.

There are manny missconseptions about the ford 3.8 vs the buick 3.8.

Manny people think the buick 3.8 is far superior because they are so much more popular and better known, but in fact i would go so far as to say the ford 3.8 is better!

One thing people dont realise is that all those buicks running 8's etc are on aftermarket blocks, they're running Nascar blocks, the guys that are running 9's and 10's on the ford 3.8 are doing so on stock production blocks. Also the buick has more of an aftermarket, The buick has aftermarket heads aftermarket cranks, etc. were as we are stuck with our stock heads and either the supercoupe crank, or the 4.2l truck crank.

Manny people dont realise the potential of the ford 3.8 but if things continue to go the way they have been going we are going to be seeing a lot more 600+whp ford 3.8's and more of them hittings the 8's/9's

. . . hmm sorry that was a bit of a rant but yea, im not sure if i answered your question

and if you want to compare production v6's

the supercoupes made 210hp 315tq with the innefficiant eaton M90 as compared to a turbo

and the newer split port engines make 193/225 N/A

i would rather have a turbo ford 3.8 then a buick GNX
