questions on the 3.8L
how much horsepower can the 3.8L engine handle, and what do I have to change in order for my engine to not FUBAR? I realized I cant afford a new engine altogether, so I'm going to turbocharge my 'stang. What would I need to do in order for my car to handle it?

Right now there are quiet a few 400+ hp stock long block 3.8 curising around.
If i was you i would go look intot he classifeidss ad's in v6power.net or 3.8mustnag.com etc.. and find a used blower. my buddy bought a used vortec for 1500 and then he found a used ATI procharger for 1600 so we just sold the vortec for 1490 and go tthe ATI. It kinda huals ass.

I don't know but they make pretty cheap cams for them..take a look at comp cams site and you'll see the start at $300! :notworthy

It kinda hauls ass... Hahaha. Well, I guess modding a v6 is as about as pointless as buying a Saleen. And holy crap, that LX 5.0 is for sale again. Im getting it now so i cannot be further ****ed around with. I'm buying it for 700, then turbocharging that.

i heard they can handle around 500 to 600 but thats with a new transmission , really im not sure because im hopeing to do this engine swap soon for a 351
 and people know i have a v6 now ill have a "v6" sleeper
