The "I officially place you in the non gt ***** category" makes it sound like every GT owner but a few, thats all...I just wondering why GT owners are ****** besides we have a better car! But then that would make Mach's and Cobra's something worse! OR IS IT JUST GT OWNERS? OR IS IT JUST CAUSE WE HAVE A BETTER CAR?

yea i have a tlok installed with 3.73's

and it didnt cost me anywere near 5k.

a new turbo kit can be had for under 3k un-intercooled

but a solid new turbo kit will run you ~4k not counting the random stuff you need

Twin turbo is a setup with two turbos of the same size, in our cars case one turbo per header, aka 3cyl per turbo. Depending on the setup it can spool faster and make more HP then a single.
(although this point can and has been argued a lot)

a bi turbo is a setup were one small turbo is used to 'spool' the bigger turbo, giving you more power from the bigger turbo, but less lag due to the other turbo spooling quickly.

These setups can be extreamly expensive and are generally not worth it, you have to have crazy valves etc because you cannot just slap on 2 diffrent sized turbos because your backpressure for each banki would be diffrent and totally screw you up.

These 'bi-turbo' setups are generaly reserved for fancy eurocars that just do stuff to be fancy, and just ends up making it cost a lot of money for not much performance gain. ala high end audi's etc

hope this clears some stuff up for you
Hope that clear

With a good tune and a safe amount of boost you should make high 300's. Seeing that turbo is OEM on the Evo's with minimal bolt-on upgrades they can make 320-330hp with one....you should make a good amount with 2. Good luck with it.

BTW: are you planing on doing internal work, or changing the head gaskets?

I didn't even bash v6 mustangs you idiot, now if I said "v6s are slow peices of ****, and the only way I would drive one is right off a cliff" I'd consider that bashing..but I just said I don't like them, and I dont see the point of spending so much money on em...anytime I make a comment about a v6, even if it has no negativity attached to it, you flip the **** out...shut up and buy a faster car

and yeah, I forgot about the 3000GTs, I like those too

sorry about hijacking your thread Teal_Beast

Sorry for spamming here teal beast...then why do you own a mustang then....sell it and get something else. you might not respect v6's but us sixers only respect 4.6 4v v8's.
