Default new paint

Hello everyone,

Thanks to Hurricane Willma and my insurance company I was able to repaint my car. Here's a video of the work in progress. I think it looks better this time around, what do you think?

Is your car dark green or what? I'm not sure how im feeling that hooodscoop. The flames are bad *** but would look even sweeter if they were all over the hood and on the front bumper. Lookin good though.

Default hood scoop

Yea, about the hood scoop. I got it for free so I put it on. I think a true Mustang Aficionado might think it looks cheesy, but to anyone else on the street it adds a look of coolness.... Work with me here, I'm trying to justify the scoop. . The color is Green, it's the original ford factory color, (FU) but different, and more expensive paint from House of Colors.

thanks for the comments,

Erik

Personally i think if you filled in the other two half *** scoops the pre 99's have it would look alright. Then add a chin spoiler and Bam your looking good.

I live in Lauderdale By The Sea. I am around Pompano beach at times. The link works now. click the word mustang at the top of the music page, you should be able to see it.

Everybody is doing great. His car looks the same just fixed due to hurricane damage. The engine swap is in the works hopefully soon.

Stang00,

The scoop is there some like it some don't. I was not digging the idea at first but my buddy insisted on installing it, he was very enthusiastic about it and I did not want to busrt his bubble. After all he is the one who fixed and painted my car. I did not realize until now why it costs so much for a quality paint job. I watched as my car was worked on and it's very labor intensive. I'm told the artist gave me a discount at $800.00 for doing the flames. I watched that process too, and it took 8 hours from start to finish. The clear coat and paint are not cheap either. Anyway, enough about that. I wanted to know how you like your dual flowmaster exhaust? A local dealer also reccomended flowmaster. What is your setup?

Stang00, he also asked how do you like your flows?
However, i already know the answer, he doesnt like them too much, and the dont sound nearly as mean as my MAC exhaust on my old 6... if i had to do it again i would go with the MAC... they sound meaner then my new GT does with magnaflows sometimes!
(the magnaflows sound better, they just arent as loud, dont have as much bite, but damn does it have tone!)

yeah, man don't do the flows...i've said it many a time most people I know with flows weren't all that impressed with the sound...Magnaflow, Spintech, and SLP i've heard are good setups, although i've only heard the first two in person...

I have Spintech Dual Side Exit and alot people ask if it's an 8 and are really surprised when they find out it isn't...IT looks amazing and it's unique...it also flows with the rear bumper...but it's not exactly the cheapest exhaust...

MT#1 is the one that said he heard SLP's on a V6 and they sounded good... I've never heard them before...

and TClark has the Magnaflow's and seems to be really happy with those...

I've already raced a 98 gt with exhaust and it was damn close...came down to shifting...
