Painting Wheels
I'm looking to paint my current wheels black. I'm new to painting rims and was wondering if anyone could help me with choosing the type of paint I'd need, whether it's worth doing myself vs taking it somewhere, and any other useful tips/knowledge on the subject. Here's a pic of my current wheels. Thanks in advance!

You can do it yourself its not very hard to paint at all. Its all in the prep and taking your time to do it right.
You will need sand paper to rough up the surface so the paint sticks.
You will need a pre paint cleaner to clean the wheels up so they have no oils,dirt,wax,etc.. on them before you paint.
Then a primer if you wish to do that.
Then some paint and a few cans of clear coat.

i prefer rustoleum (sp?) over duplicolor, to me it just lays down easier and comes out with a smoother finish.. (coming from someone who has painted wheels in the past)
and i'd also recomend primer (cheap **** works fine, just takes longer to dry) because sometimes the paint wont bond to the bare metal very good, but other than that spike pretty much summed it up
