Default bullitt and tire question

Ok, so i really want to get the 17x10.5 rims, but i cant fit the 315s on the rear. Would i be able to fit 275s on them? And i would like to get 17x9s in the front, will 245s fit on those? Help would be greatly appreciated. I know the best tire size for the 10.5 is the 315s, but i would really like my rears to be deepdish but those tires are way too big for my taste.

275's look like hell on 10.5 inch wide rims. 285 is the minumum and they really don't look right either. You really need 315's.

275's look the best on the 17 x 9's.

OK, so i was thinking about 17x9 in front and 18x10s in the rear. Do 285s stock fit on the back. I dont want to have to remove the quad shocks or flip them or anything.

you could get away with 295. quad shocks do nothing but help wheel hop and are useless with any type of rear control arms. I dont know your setup but id remove them if you have/plan on getting rear control arms

You shouldn't have an issue running 315 on a 10.5" rim. Many many owners have this setup.

for an 18x9, I'd go with 265/35, and for a 17x9, I'd go with 275/35.

For an 18x10, 295/35 will be your best option by far. Many GOOD tires are available in this size.

some have issues with 315 in 17s rubbing the quad shock. they are very few, but hes one of the lucky ones.

so quad shocks do absolutely nothing for daily driving? Why did they put them in there then?

Well there is a reason they are on there, so I personally wouldn't take mine off if the car is a DD. Granted, I'm sure it's a small reason, but that small reason could cause problems down the road if they are removed.

its there for wheel hop. our rear control arms flex under hard throttle and quad shocks help some. aftermarket control arms help fix that problem.

Oh ok. Someone said flipping the quad shocks over will give me some clearance, is that true? Also, when are american muscle getting more 17x8 black bullitt rims in, they have been sold out for a while.
