Installed Rear Springs, Fronts Are A Problem
So I bought H and R Super Sports and the rears were pretty easy, got them in looks so much better! So we goto the front and we dont have a big enough socket for the big A-Arm bolt, we look online and you need a 21mm and the 21mm doesnt fit, even with an impact we couldnt get it off with a 1inch or w/e.... anyone know why my car wouldnt be a 21mm A Arm bolt? anyone have this problem on their spring install?

yea my friend does it that way but i called a guy who has an LX with an LS1 in it and he said he undoes the 3 CC bolts and drops the shock down and pushes the a arm down so he is gonna do that with me tuesday

That's how you are supposed to do it..

Youll have to do that and take the brake caliper off and the abs sensor so you can push the a arm down enough. Put the spring in so the pigtail is only covering one of the two holes. Then put a jack under the a arm, compress the strut by hand and push it back under the wheel well while you jack the a arm back up. It helps to have two people during this step. Ive installed springs a million times, could do it with my eyes closed.

I'm thinking my A-arm bolts were 15/16ths (don't know the metric) but you don't even need to touch thoes. Take off the brake caliper, unbolt the ABS, unbolt the swaybar endlink, unbolt the tie-rod, unbolt the strut from the knuckel (with a jack under the balljoint), lower the a-arm, pry out the spring, then reverse. That should get it.

to pop the tie rod out leave the nut on a few turns and beat with a hammer to get it out... dont forget to put the jack under the ball joint other wise you will catch a spring in the face and probably die!

I lowered my 02 gt and my 92 LX by myself both times. The 02 was a little easier, To do the front place car on jackstands, unbolt brake caliper hang it out of the way. unclip the abs retaining clip. place jack under the control arm and preload it. Unbolt the strut either at the top of the strut tower or down at the spindle. unbolt the sway bar endlink slowly lower the jack all the way down, be careful I always put a ratchet strap through the spring and control arm incase it would fly out it would retain it. pry the stock spring out it will have a little energy left in it but not enough to do anything. Now just install the new shorter spring and reverse order. Now your done....
