OK, I have searched on this and other forums and am still undecided. I have a 2001 Bullitt with Panhard Bar, Subframe connectors, Kframe brace, HD rear LCA's, and several polyurethane bushings. The car is used mainly for autocross/autoslalom with some weekend drives thrown in, but not a daily driver. I want to ramp up the handling some with new springs/shocks. My choices are H&R Race springs/Bilstein dampers/CC Plates, etc or the MM starter box with MM sport springs. The Bullitt already has heavier springs/dampers than stock, otherwise I would consider the Ford Racing "C" springs.
Any words of Wisdom? Thanks |

If you want the best go with MM coilovers.

Yeah Ford C springs would be basicly no difference than what you have. H&R race springs would be a good choice w/ MM valved Bilsteins. But like PCola stated, coilovers would be the best choice in the end if budget allows.

IMO, Eibach is a good spring if your goal is only looks. H&R is the manufacturer that I'd go with when performance is the goal. I don't know why I think that way, I don't have any information to prove Eibach is any less of a performer other than H&R haveing spring rates that I like more for performance.

H&R and MM sport valved bilsteins. Or, go coil over and really reap the benefits.

I placed an order for H&R Super Race springs/MM Sport Valved Bilsteins/Torque Arm/CC Plates. That should go a long way toward better autoslalom times I hope. Also ordered 3:73 gears and a complete bearing kit. Lots to get done for next season!

Wow, thats a high spring rate. Too much for me, but mine is a weekly driver.
H&R Super Race - Front 950-1050, Rear 260-300 I'm sure you talked to the Maximum Motorsports staff but you may want to look into some T/A springs that have a higer spring rate.

Already looked after, a chat with Chris Phelps helped me make up my mind. The super race and the MM Sport valved Bilsteins are well matched for the front, and they did substitute higher rate rear springs for the torque arm. If this combo lives up to his description of ride/handling with a torque arm, I will be very pleased!

Thats nice that they substituted higer rate springs in the rear. I don't think you will be disappointed. Where do you race? I race in SCCA Solo II mainly in the Arkansas and Red River regions.
