well i want to install the H&R SS springs and was wondering if it's easy enough to do alone(or with a friend).

Pretty easy but do not rush and keep safety in mind since springs pack a punch when released under compression.

If you disconnect the strut from the A arm (or axle), you can lower the arm/axle far enough to where the spring is no longer being compressed, and it will come out safely and without much of a hassle. This is how I did it, because I couldn't get a spring compressor to fit.

Spring install is really easy. You don't need a spring compressor, and they won't shoot out and cave your chest in. http://www.dndgarage.net/springinstall.htm

you will need 2 people for the rear spring because the axle moves and one person has to push it back so you can slide the bolt back through the control arm. follow that write up above

Did mine by myself in about 1-2 hours but it would go a little faster w/ an extra hand.
