Smoke Tires....Not Drugs.

What would be a good and comfortable shock for a lowered 03 GT? Im about to get Eibach springs. 2" drop i beleive!

I don't know about the shocks, but I lowered my '03 GT 1 1/2 inches and it can be challenging not to scrape the chin spoiler and to get over speed bumps, steep entrance ways, etc. Don't get me wrong, I'd lower it the same again but 2" is going to be a REAL challenge.

shocks, tokico illumina or bilstein (MM HD spec)
struts: bilstein (mm HD spec, foxbody length) or Tokico Illumina (Fox body spec). The fox body struts are 1/2" shorter and will restore some of the bump travel you lost with the lowering. BTW...2" is too far. You cause handling problems below 1.5" of drop from stock without doing much more significant modifications. |
