thats why i was smart enough to not get involved in the food service industry.

i have to deal with assholes all day long... i work in retail banking.

i've been called all sorts of names because people **** up their bank accounts... or because the bank charges fees... but its not my fault so there's not much i can do.

working with people means you'll deal with assholes who dont appreciate you. better get used to it, thats life, get a ****ing helmet.

yeh well you get a resonable hourly wage... (or whatever you get paid he relys on tips)

thats why i'm in college... i worked at sunoco back when gas costed $3.20 a gallon... thats when people really get pissed...

I have no receieved a paycheck form my job since the first week I worked when I trained(and got no tips and 6.15 an hour). The fact is, the taxes off of the amount of money i made(bc i DO delclae everything) is always more than the total paycheck so it's always zero dollars...ALWAYS.

ROFL, yeah no paycheck...but everything I make is in cash. And each shift. It's pretend at your job u clock in and when u clock out, your boss gives u the amount of money u earned. To the tune of aboout $20/hr.

Just think about it like this...


you make $400 in a week, and declare all of it.

taxes at my job (since im single and dependent, the max amount is taken out)are about 20% of what u make so...80 is taxed.

you make $3.13/hr and work 30 hours so u earned $93.90 in hourly

20% of 93.90 is $19.

So if u work 30 hours and make $400, your paycheck is about $94 and you're being taxed about $100...that's why we get no paycheck. If i was taxed 15%, I'd still only be getting about $10 per paycheck

"cry baby"... my Mustang has nothing to do with anything... i dont know how YOU get treated when you go out but ME... i usually end get hit on by the "hot waitress" because i am in good shape and good looking... hey thats great that you wanna make a career out of serving people... but i was just giving you my 2 cents... you should learn how to take what people say without throwing a bitch fit. just because you dont get to hook up with the hot waitresses when you go out doesnt meen everyone on these forums is like you... wow you drive a GT... i problly still get better looking girls then you and they dont care weather i drive a GT, Mach 1, or freakin shelby kid. and as far as the "all the women servers are just into me for the tip"... well i dont know about you but so far i have had pretty good luck with hooking up with a few female servers who have "flirted with me for tips"... so maybe the world isnt what you think pal...

I have one girl who thik the world of me and I think the world of her. I don't womanize. I don't think any place should be like hooters. I treat my girl like a queen and she reciprocates it. It's better that I don't get hit on by "hot waitresses" because it's not a temptation for me to cheat, which I wouldn't od anyways.

or the other scenario...

Drive a slow, ugly ass car BUT be buff and good looking...the kind that all kinds of girls "hit on". to be single and looking, and pretty easy to "hook up" with a waitress. But wait, if you're so great, then why don't you have a girl? oh nevermind that...probably get a lotta ass so when you do finally get a girl to stay with, you're either damaged goods or you have a disease. Always tip atleast 15% if they did their job, more if we enjoyed them.
There is only one time, which stang00 knows of, which we didnt give 15%... Red Lobster, the waitress was a complete bitch, the kinda thing where she would ask 'how is everyones meal' on her way by us, not stopping or anything. Im sure she had a 'hard afternoon' or something before coming in, too bad it was reflected in her income that night.
