Default Which front bumper?

Getting rid of the stocker and trying to decide between the Roush Stage 3 or a Cobra Front Bumper. Keep in mind that I have a 2000 GT Vert - Black.

I really like both and am torn between the two. Price will probably play a factor.

Help me out!

As for "Cobra Front Bumper"
My vote was for cobra, but as in a sexy 03-04 cobra front bumper.
The 99 style cobra bumper was 'nothing special' but i believe you could put the mach 1 chin on there, imagine that would look good... the Cobra R bumper is on the extreme end of things, and i personally used to love it but more recently liek the 03' bumper more... =D

Yeah I like the Cobra or Cobra R bumper. But if you get the Cobra R You will probably want the Cobra R hood too…

I think if you go for the 03-04 bumper better to just get chin spoiler and you dont need to paint it. If you are going to replace body parts go with something rare Ive seen alot of Cobras but no Cobra R on street. Or just add the steeda splitter. I just remembered I had a pick of someone in a car show with steeda splitter on a gt and in black.

Thanks for the comments and the photos. I value your opinions. as to some of them:

Cobra R - Not my taste...hey I am an old fart. Hangs too low for me and a bit too radical.

Steeda Splitter - Again, hangs too low. Besides, I have to get rid of my bumper due to its condition. I want it off. A product like this is too costly as I need to replace the bumper AND get the splitter.

Roush Stage 3- I just love this bumper. I can get one shipped with lights for $420. A bit salty, but not too bad. Thing is, it does hang down in the front a bit, but not as much as the R and the Steeda. I am not sure how it would look w/o the side skirts. If I got this one, I would probably add the rest of the kit at some point (wing and side skirts) and then go with stripes.

Cobra - The whole which is better 2003 or 2001 bumper debate! That's a real hard one. The 2001 is just a subtle change over the stock GT, but it is nice and clean. Also, the price on this one may be right. Much easier to find a slightly used one.

If I could get some reassuarance that the that the Roush would look fine by itself, that is the route I will go.

Well, my answer is Roush. And it will look okay without the side skirts....for awhile. I like the look of the Stage 3 and I don't know about where you are, but the Roush stage 3 is somewhat of a rarity around the big "D". Just my opinion.

I just found out that the Roush 380R body is the same as the Stage 3 minus the side skirts and rear valance. The side skirts are for having a side exhaust, hence no need for the rear mod with the 380R. I can get a 380R kit for just $549 shipped.

Does the 03 cobra front bumper have to be modified to fit on the GT? Im 80% sure the hood does. Ive got the 01 cobra bumper, but my vote is for the 03 bumper.

I would go with the Stage 3 myself. I love the Roush kits, they are awesome.

Just took a second look at the Roush kit and it a hard choice. It sounds like you like the Roush kit better so if I were you, I would get the Roush, But for me I like the 03-04 Cobra.

Well, subject to a dissaster, I have decided on the Roush 380R body kit. It consists of the front bumper AND the 4 post wing. I found it for $505 shipped and brand-new with all the parts. Could not pass it up.

Thanks all for the comments. I asked for your opions, and I got them. The views were pretty split.
