And as for neons being strictly something that would be on a ricer....you couldnt be more wrong...or...well..no, yeah you're pretty much just wrong.
Neons are quite common among show cars. cars that are made for car shows alot of the time will have neons on a muscle, tuner, or exotic car, and they still look pretty damn good.
However I will agree that yes, neons can make a car look ugly if done improperly, but the gt I saw the other night looked pretty good with them. And it wasnt all "riced out" either. No body kits, or huge spoiler. But It was just something I was looking into. Not giving that much thought on it because I want to focus more on the "go" aspect before I start working on "show".


Now....Will someone please tell me how to get those ricer citations cause I want to print them in mass.

And as for that goofy *** mustang with the spoiler on the hood...isnt that an 99-00 something mustang spoiler? Looks like he just took it off the back...I also like the way it doesnt match with the curvatures in the hood.

It was a GIS. There were no derogatory words or terms included in the GIS.

The thing is, any one of us could go to Google right now and come back with dozens of pictures of crap cars with neon lights... but I can never recall ever seeing a car or truck with neons and thinking "boy, that colorful glow really sets the car off nicely."

 

what about the new KITT... all of that unecessary blue neon is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. really lets the bad guys know you mean business.

 

I've never noticed that it had blue neons? I know it has those red lights in the hood scoop area...

 

in attack mode it gets all riced out, including neons.

 

hey it's your car if u like neons, do it. i don't plan on putting them on mine but thats me. and i won't knock you for doing what u want with your car. but it's all in good fun when everyone starts yelling RICE.

 

Yeah I dont plan on getting neons anytime soon, it was just a thought.
You know the idea usually is to make your car as unique as possible, but yeah I guess for some people its all about chin spoilers, AM rims, 14 inch antenas, and mustang decals.
But Im going for performance first.

..Id by rims from AM. And I do need new mustang bumper inserts seeing as how the former owner decided to take them all off.

 

The idea is NOT usually to make your car as unique as possible, but to make it look as good as it can with tasteful mods that compliment the vehicle. Unique can look like poo or it can look great...depends on whether or not the mods compliment the vehicle.
