Default Front Speakers

I have a 02 Mustang GT w/ the stock Mach 1000 system.

My front left door speaker is blown. I'm going to go ahead and replace both front door speakers now. Will a 6x8 speaker fit and will any aftermarket speaker work with my stock setup...? Any suggestions on new front speakers as well?

well...after getting the front speakers installed in the front they don't work right. The AMP is turning off the power to the front speakers when BASS is up.

Guess i gotta find the stock MACH 1000 speakers somehwere.

i have the infinity that I bought from circuit city for 99 bucks a pair. Not bad for the money. My brother put 4 of the kickers also in his stang and it sounds wayyyy better than mine. I think he paid 145 for the pair from a local audio shop. If i did it over id do the kickers too
