Default What do you think? Nitrous setup

was just doing a little research on nitrous systems, and came up with what I think would be the best and safest package possible. What do you guys think?

NX EFI Plate System

Gen X 2 Kit
http://www.americanmuscle.com/niexackit2.html
NX window switch
http://www.americanmuscle.com/nx-rpm...itch-9605.html
DynoTune Air/Fuel Ratio lean shut down swith w/ built in TPS (WOT)
http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...p?idproduct=67
DynoTune Remote Bottle Opener
http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/stor...sp?idproduct=16
DynoTune Nitrous Switch Panel
http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...p?idproduct=88

This is what I would get if I was to do a nitrous system, which probably won't be for another 2 years. A fuel pressure safety switch comes with the Gen X 2 kit, and then you have the air/fuel ratio shut down switch as well in case a solenoid fails. I would probably make a custom panel in the armrest where I would be able to mount the switch panel, nitrous pressure gauge, and the Air/Fuel Ratio switch w/TPS. Therefore, everything would be hidden. Is a fuel pressure guage necessary with a wet nitrous system?

The NX plate kit makes great power, granted it has a nasty lean spike but a good tuner and a bigger pump like the SVT focus pump will help alot with that.

I wouldn't bother with the NX gen2 package. Rather get a MSD window switch from summit racing or other forums (i got mine new from a guy local for 80bucks) and a heater off ebay or dynotune. You can save allot of money getting those pieces from other places. I got my heater form Compucar for $50. A bottle opener again can be had for cheaper but this is all up to you. And you don't need a purge save your money unless you have to have it. A nitrous bottle gauge is a must have item. Ebay has these for very very cheap aswell as dynotune.com.

The lean/rich o2 sensor switch is a cool idea, but runs off the stock o2 sensors which are narrow band so its kind of pointless to use it.

I also have my own opinion on the FPSS. I had one hated it. I never could get it to work correctly and would always shut my kit off because the lean spike would make it touch 19psi on the fuel rail. I got rid of it and have a fuel pressure gauge and im much happier to be done with it.

Basically get the kit buy your own heater, opener, window switch else where and save allot of money for things you dont need.
