alright....winter is almost around the corner...time to save money for future mods. the first thing that may be going on in the spring is a whole new exhaust setup. i was thinking about going with bbk long tubes, bbk x pipe, and mac pro dumps, or mac long tubes, mac x pipe, and mac pro dumps. anyone have a similar setup and what do you think about it? any other suggestions?? thanks

I have heard negative things about bbk quality. I have never seen a stang driver who is a serious racer use any of their stuff either. I have a bbk TB as they seem to make them very nice.
I like SLP, Bassani, and Magnaflo myself. But, it is truly a personal choice.

My setup on my old stang was as follows
Flowmaster 2 chamber dumped MAC Lontubes MAC o/r H pipe It was very loud. Once I got the Flowmasters dumped it was even better. Some people would get a headache from being with me in the car. I loved the setup and I had no trouble with the MAC products either. I got them for a very good price also so that was even better. You could hear my car coming welll up the road, and I got lots compliments.

Yes as stated above, the quality of BBK's exhaust is sometimes questionable, but so is a lot of other stuff. I know for a fact though, that my opinion is to not get an X pipe like Bassani or BBK with Flowmaster mufflers. If you want an X pipe with the flows, get the Mustangtuning one or a UPR. They both sound AMAZING!
