stay away from the saleen blower. if you want a roots style blower get the kenne bell kit.

i think this guy is putting a 02 complete motor in his 97 and he wants to add a poweradder. looks like he wants to put in a saleen roots blower which is a crap blower for our 2 valves. he is better off getting a non-intercooled twin screw from kenne bell not only will it make more power than a intercooled SALEEN blower it has a lot more potential to grow.

if you have a saleen blower im sorry and i hope you got it used...

The saleen blower is overpriced, performs bad, full of bugs, overall royal PITA.

I'd look into a KB or some other type of boost for the money.

Dont spend your time on anything eaton. Saleen and Roush both are bad.

Kenne Bell, Vortech, Paxton, or Procharger are really your only options. Those powerdynes or whatever it is are really cheap, but I have heard nothing of their performance. But im sure they are cheap for a reason.

power gains would be around 100hp at the wheels, a little less tq gain but close. you'll need upgraded injectors, fuel pump, custom tune, colder plugs, longer belt.

There is nothing wrong with a Saleen blower. They just are not rated as high and make about 6 lbs of boost because Saleen warranties there cars so they keep them conservative.

If you can get the right price on one, go for it, otherwise, there are stronger options.
