It will work it just connects to the 8 injectors just like on any EFI v8. I would however highly recommend getting ANY other wet kit and stay away from the mess of wiring that is Venom.

By chance does anyone know how much hp or how big a shot a stock 99 cobra fuel system will support.

with a dry kit like the venom kit, i wouldn't go over a 75shot as that is going to really tax the fuel injectors. For more then that i would up the injectors to 30#ers you have 24#ers stock if i recall and i would upgrade the fuel pump to something like a SVT Focus pump or a Aviator or Ford GT fuel pump. The cheapest of all of those is the SVT pump.

yea ive been thinking about either picking up a 03-04 tank with pumps or dropping ina GT pump.Does a gt pump have to be tuned in or is it just plug and play type thing. woudl you reccomend 30#ers or 36#...thanks in advance for the advice

with a GT pump you have to get a different FPDM (fuel pump driver module) or it wont work right with your car. Me i would go SVT focus pump drop it in and it will feed all the stock internals can handle.

Honestly, if I had a 99 Cobra, i would not mess with nitrous and would go with a blower. That motor is just begging for a blower. So, if you go with this kit, to keep costs down, stick with the basics and keep the shot at 75. Otherwise, spend $2,000 on a nice wet kit.......which is not too far from what a blower would cost.

I am not sure as to the details, but i think you can pickup a used stock blower from a 2003/4 Cobra which I think will fit right on your 99. Those stock blowers are cheap as hell used. I have seen them fro <$1,000.

Its not as easy as most people think to put an eaton on a 99/01,
ive looked into it. During this winter the car wil get its motor built and blower, i wanna drive the car for the rest of the summer though ima wait till winter for all the down time and waiting on things. The main reaon for the n20 is i can enjoy it now with minimal downtime and it will complement the blower later on.
heres a link to a thread on svtp where a guy with a 99/01 did the eaton swap. Has all the steps pics, parts list ect.

I feel you on the not waiting around, plus its alot cheaper and for a college kid like me its the way to go. Plus i dont need to run 93 octane all the time whihc is awsome. FYI there are alot of guys pushing 150shots on those cars just got to get the fuel system aka pump and injectors in your case upgraded and tune it and rock out. Another little tid bit the cobra manifold is very bad for low rpm nitrous flow so be sure to spray above 3k. I have sprayed my 2v as low as 2500rpms with no problems but the 4v lacks bottom end flow with that manifold made for upper rpm power.

What fuel pump have you decided to go with?

havent made up my mind on the fuel stuff yet. im thinking about 2 setups
1.just the focus pump and injector/maf
2.03 tank duel ford gt pumps FPDM's ( thinking ahead for the winter mods)
i plan on setting the window switch for 3500-4000rpms to o/a 6500
ive been speding a lot of money on the car latley so i may just keep to a small shot and do the fuel system in the winter, ive been skipping on the going out and dates and things.
