Hello,

I have a 2004 Ford Mustang GT, my car is a complete Saleen Clone. the only thing it is missing is the Blower. what kind of blowers will fit my car. what about a stock 2004 Cobra supercharger? will that fit? what kind of mods do i have to do in order for superchargers to work on my car? thanks for all the help.

anything that is specifically meant for an 01-04 mustang gt..alot of people go w/ vortec v2-sq trim, a paxton novi 2000, procharger psc1, and Kenne Bell 2.1 big bore (which replaced the 1.7 version). kenne bell is the only positive displacement of the 4 i meantioned (it sits on top of the engine and replaces your intake). You cannot use a 2003/2004 supercharger cause it is meant for a 4v head and not the 2v head which is what the gt has.

if you want a nice complete kit get a Modular Powerhouse Mongoose kit w/ a Vortec, Novi 2000 (i believe), or Kenne Bell 2.1 (for this supercharger you need to go to the shop which is in GA). Mogoose kits come w/ everything (fuel pump, injectors, Xcal2 tuner w/ safe tune, Spark Plugs) the only thing you would need is a dyno run to check the air/fuel ratio.

400rwhp and 400rwtq is the max on the stock internals until you put in forged parts (rods, crank and pistons). after that point you may wanna have another car to drive

they have a forum there too...the owner is Tim and then there is Rhonda (wife) and Andy (brother)...ask anyone of them w/ even further help

Nope. If you want to go the Saleen route Id frequent ebay. One sold last week for around $3k. Id recommend a Kenne Bell if you want the best of the best though. Buy the KB kit new and it will have everything you need to install it and perform great

I'm close to a Saleen clone, but not totally.

Anyways, if you want to complete your clone with saleen, definately check Ebay. There's a few models: Saleen Series II which can only hold to about 12 psi and 380RWHP MAX with a lot of supporting mods. This is an Eaton blower. Eaton is also the Cobra blowers. Also, there is the series IV which I'd recommend if you want a Saleen blower. This one is made by Whipple and can stand up to around 14-16 PSI. Up another notch is the Series V which is discontinued and rare. Went on the Extreme's from 02-04 and therefore isn't many of them. If you can find them they'll run you around $7K.

If you still want similar to the Saleen blower's, go with Kenne Bell. GREAT blower, but rather expensive. I believe $5-6,000 but is the best supercharger out there.
This is still a positive displacement blower also.

If you want centrifugal, do your research and pick from Vortech, Paxton, or ProCharger. These are more personal preference.

Here's a link for the Series IV: http://www.haneymotorsport.com/1999-...percharger.htm

Keep in mind with the KB, if you buy it new then itll have to be installed by the shop you buy it from. This will add a lot onto the costs.

keep the saleen thing going and get the saleen series 4. It's a twin screw like the whipple and KB but it says saleen on top.

in centrifugal land... I like the vortech kits. They've always been a great blower and easy folks to deal with.

Im not sure how I like that package. Whats with the 60lb injectors then focus pump? 60lbs are good to about 600rwhp. A focus pump is only good to around 400rwhp. Id also go with NGK BR7EF gapped around .028 in blower cars.

I like the MPH packages a lot better.
