It took them from 1:00 till 6:30 to get my MAF meter/IAT sensor install and dyno tune done. The tune was done at delk performance. I was a little dissapointed when they told me the numbers it put down, but the SOTP feel is AWESOME!
It put down: 340.0whp @ 5708rpm and 354.5wtq @ 4231rpm on a Mustang Dyno. This was with 8psi non-intercooled, offroad X-pipe, Flowmasters, 39# injectors, 90mm MAF, and a walbro 255 fuel pump The A/F ratio: minimum= 10.71 , max= 12.62 , and average= 11.37 I will post pics of the graph soon, but the power curves look real nice and smooth. Brent said the reason it didnt make as much power is because of the intake air temps. He said they were 170-190 degrees! He couldnt give it any timing and also recommended that I get an intercooler before the hot weather comes back around. I was hoping for around 370whp, but I also forgot I am still on stock exhaust manifolds and the stock vortech intake. Next mods are intercooler and powerpipe. On the road it feels awesome! Its MUCH louder now! Its crazy loud and I felt like the cops could hear me a mile away. The power feels slow rolling into gears at lower rpms, but from a 40mph roll at 3K its crazy fast! I tried to race a C6 vette but he didnt wanna play, then some v6 mustang with no hood tried to race me and I just smoked its doors off through one gear! Im gonna try and get to the track tomorrow! ![]()

I told you this was going to happen.....you need to get it intercooled and you might get back some of that hp that was lost to heat.

thats pretty good for a V1 at 8 psi. its not very often you see a V1 vortech with 8 psi make 370 hp. that 12.6 a/f would make me nervous, its prolly right at redline.

Oh and we had a little problems with the L Maf cause it was so big. I had to buy a 4"ID filter and a 4"-3.5" reducer sleeve so it would fit to that flex hose. I also didnt have the right size bracket that the MAF is attatched to the fender with. We had to use the one made for 80mm. Its a little small and the MAF is bigger, so the inlet side is pretty restricted right now. I need a 4" powerpipe and the 90mm bracket to clean it up. Then ill have to get it retuned....
Im also still on the stock TB/plenum setup. Brent fixed it where the cooling fan is on all the time. It never turns off. He didnt tell me about it. Is that normal? The engine seems to be running cooler now cause of it. He also said that my speedo was way off. How do I get that fixed? I am on stock gear with stock tires ![]()

yep thats one of the problems of running a non-intercooled setup is less HP. your car is a prime example.

Might wanna reconsider your fuel pump too, the Walbro 255 is not designed to work with 99-04 cars and will eventually fail.

The best thing for it right now is to do a T/B and plenum upgrade and intercool that thing then figure out where you are on hp/tq. If you Put a small shot on it your going to be creating problems for yourself
