Tkae the offset bushing and get it firmly seated on the alt footing. Then install washer to the striaght bolt that goes from the head unit housing to the offset. You'll need size 8 washers but it should mount no problem. Also check and make sure the other 2 bolts on the braket are flush with the idler pulley. More wahser are needed for alignment but this should solve the problems with mounting this unit with no flex. Also if needed contact Dave Guy at kauffman motorsports in dillsburg,PA. The took about an hour to get this working the correct way.

Keep in mind I have the 8 rib kit so the 6 rib will vary in washer's needed. Also some slight grinding was need on my 2.9 pulley to get it to clear the alt. But as long as you check the alignment of the bracket and the pulley this little bit of info should help.

That seems to be holding up so far. I also found this thread for a tensioner mod: http://forums.modulardepot.com/showt...t=78624&page=3

Im gonna try that too.

Thanks for your help. They should make this a sticky.

Thanks a lot, Wade. I didnt need as many washers as you, but everything is holding up just fine. Now that i have the bracket problem taken care of, i am starving for fuel at 4500rpms. I am going to start shopping for a KB BAP.
