Unless you like the idea of a hotrod 6, Id get a GT or Cobra. I did read a article a few months back in I think "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords".
A guy had a pretty stock V-6 automatic (forget the year, I thik it was a 02 or 03) and put a turbo on it with like 10psi of boost and he was well into the 300hp range. Only other thing he did was put a tranny cooler on it and a couple gauges.

your stang looks really nice. finally someone who understands, everyone else is like, get a GT or Cobra, but I don't want to. the v6 is my first car and I've been in love with the mustang since I was about 8 and now I'm 21 so like you I got attached. thank you for actually answering me and not telling me to get a new car thank you :happy7:

Why don't you try nitrous? It's minimally invasive, much less expensive than a blower, and it's there when you want it. Nitrous is a lot of fun. You will be able to surprise quite a few GT's with some spray. A 75 shot would easily get you well into the GT range.

A set of 4.10's and some spray and you will have have a killer car. Having nitrous is like driving Super Man. Clark Kent one moment, and a tire burner the next.

MT has the Venom-1000 on sale right now I belive too. This is the system that I use.

Like MT said i would either use nitrous on it, or check the for sale adds on the v6 forums like www.v6power.com or www.3.8mustang.com etc... and you can find some fairly cheap used blowers my buddy got 2 blower kits both for under 1600 from there sites.
also if your looking for a cheap blower i have a vortec v2 that i know of for sale for $2,000 its brand new in the box.

these are the wheels that I put on my v6 they are 18" 5ziggen fnoir-c bronze they are cool with the torch red. I lowered it 2" all around and it looks much better.

I want to take out the front seats because my stupid brother burned a hole in the seat (made me so mad :angry4: )and replace them with 2-tone red and black leather from a juncker 99-04 cobra and put a 2-tone cover on the back seats because no one sits there( that often). but I will probibly wait to put mods in. I'm doing the"show and no go" thing. I think I will put in a chip, dual exaust adn a cold air intake that should be enough and not brake the bank.

I want to put a pretty nice sound system in but I need some advice, how many subs and what size, how many watts (in subs and amp) can I fit more then 6 speakers ( not including subs) safely) what are good brands?

Tell that to the countless v6 drivers with 450+ rwhp, the handful of v6 drivers running mid to low tens, and the handful of v6 drivers with stock motor running 400+rwhp. It is VERY possible, no more expensive to do it with than a GT, and not any harder to do either.

Like a few other knowledgable guys said. Do rear gears and some suspension (wont help power numbers, but it will get the power to the ground when you start making it), and either nitrous, or even a junkyard turbo set-up for fairly cheap. Lots of times its cheaper to do a v6 turbo set-up than a gt...less injectors to buy, less rods/pistons to buy (if you want a forged motor), etc etc. check out those links the other guys gave you, and also check out turbomustangs.com supersix racing has a site, not sure what it is though. Good luck!

I dont know about that...I had a 95 V6 for a while, and blew the HG's TWICE. I think there is plenty of power to be had, but the r&d for the v6 is less than the 5.0 or 4.6, so the prices will be higher

The single port intake cars 94-98 suck. i belive its the 94-95 that have really bad head gaskets that blow even if it s a stock motor. the 99+ are split port and can make some good power reliabley.

Oh yeah and ATI does make a 11# and 13# kit for the 3.8 my buddy has the 11# kit with 3 core intoorcooler. Hes a good drag car with lots of power up top. if you have stock gears and open rear end i would change that fast though.

And like i sia di got a v2 kit for the 3.8 stangs. for $2,000 or $2,100 shipped. its brand new never used at all. pm me if you would like. I got a few offers on it, but so far all i got was alot of low ballers on a brand new kit. :laughing6
