Default What are the best ways to get more power

Would someone be able to give me some advice into what i should put on my 2002 V6? I would love to be able to add a lot more horsepower. I have an automatic transmission unfortunately. What would be some good parts and ideas to help me achieve this goal also what are the price ranges of these parts and how easy are they to instal. Also what exhaust system sounds the best if i wanted to put dual exhaust on my mustang?
Thanks

Well I think some of the biggest modifications for an automatic (besides $2,000 + modifications) dont add horsepower. If you added 4.10 gears, traction loc, a 3000 stall torque converter, you would drop more than half a second off your 1/4 mile time. Then you could add small boltons such as underdrive pulleys, cold air intake, exhaust, and to answer your other question.. there are many different opinions... I prefer mac flowpaths.

I could go on... but all of that listed above will take a second off your 1/4 time and put you in the low 15s.

ouch, lol
Honestly though, Taylor is right. Skip all the "power" boltons and go straight for the 4.10s and stall.

Install is not easy at all and is best left for professionals. The measurements have to be dead on or it can cause many problems. Its best to pay, but unfortunately it cost a lot to get it installed, and your car will be stuck at the shop all day.

Buy a flash tuner from superchips, dioblosport,Hypertech or someone else. You will notice an improvement in throttle responce, shift firmness, and you can get rid of that stupid top speed limmiter. These things will also alow you to install an offroad exhaust system in the futute. The flash tuners run for $399 shipped next day air.
