Obviously, the chrome isn't going to stand out this much. Just a quick one to give you an idea.

I think they would look pretty nice, from what i've seen though you will have to watch out for rust because of the rivets. Also, I hope you're not thinking about DD on all 4...

The 17 x 9's dont seem to have a deep enough dish to make it look funny. What do you think? |

booo
i dont like those wheels...and 17's are too small...if ur getting new wheels just go with an 18x9 and 18x10 or 17x9 and 18x10...i know you just bought those tires for the stockers...you could also just but a set of 18x10 anthrasite bullits to put in the rear with some 295 or 315's and it would look sweet...and that way you can keep the front rims and tires and you when the front tires wear out you have an extra set from the old rear ones...get what i sayin?

I know, but for 380 total for all 4 tires, it is kind of tempting, especially if I want springs.

i would do the whole big tire in back thing...it just looks better.
so i think a nice 17x9 or 18x9 in front and a 18x10 in back would look sweet...wrapped in 265/35/18 or 265/40/17 in front and either a 295 or 315 in back...just the way i would do it but it isnt my car! but i did see a yellow cobra the other day with black wheels and it looks sweet

What I meant is... Don't put Deep dish rims on all 4 corners. Put dd's on the back, and reg. rims on the front.
IMHO Do 17/9's in the front and 18/10's in the back, that'll give you a good staggered look. Then get springs. 315's look good, but they are phat as hell.. I kinda like 295's.. |

I put black FR500s on my mach, 17x9 up front w/ 275/40 and 18x10 in back w/ 295/35. Here's some pics to give an idea of what yours would look like:
![]() ![]() The 295/35s are plenty big - ![]() Satuday, I switched the front tires to 255/45 R17 BFG KDW NTs but don't have any pics of them yet, hopefully after I get the springs on Wednesday, I'll be able to post them.
