Default What exactly is this for?

Ok, so these wires were in my car when I bought it about 5 months ago and am wondering what they are for. The guy at the dealership didn't know and Im assuming its for something electrical. Any of you guys know what these wires would hook up to? As you can see they are located on the driver side of the car, just above the AC vent.

looks like something that the previous owner left in there for some sort of audio system.

those don't look like something that would be in there from the factory

Looks like the power, output and antenna cables for a satellite radio system. The XM Roady cables I have look pretty much like that.

Thats what I originally thought it was because of the location of the wires. I dont see why you would hook up CD / DVD player all the way over to the left almost near the windows. And don't most people usually have their XM/Sirius setups near the middle where the cd player is? Im just not sure if radar detectors need 3 wires to hook up. This is really bugging me.

Its not for a radar detector. It was for some sort of external audio device like XM, Sirius, or some IPOD setup. Take em out if you dont want em in there...

Definately for a sat radio. One is for power, one for the antenna, and one is for the output to the radio.
