The company that makes them is damn hard to get ahold of.I did alot of research before I bought mine and saw almost perfect reviews of the VIS products.

The functional one's are made by Nechepi and are sold on EBay.I emailed them about 5 times and still have not gotten a reply from them.

The name of the company is actually called Niche. I did a lot of looking into the company because that is the hood I was going to order BUT I heard a lot of bad stuff about the quality of the hood, packaging problems, and bad customer service so I did not want to take a chance.

My hood is stock, but I had it re-painted. I only paid $200 to paint my hood, bumper and wing. A friend did it. I am having it re-clear coated as soon as he gets his new paint booth up.

That is a little personal there Lance...I know I made you a sig and all but come on!

I think THE HOOD actually has a rise of 3"? I am pretty sure that is what Kaenen told me.

Also to Danny...the area behind the louvers has a fine line as a template in case you decide to cut them out. The hood is 2 layers but Kaenen cut one layer out so if I decided to cut out the holes I could so I wouldnt have to cut through 2 layers of fiberglass.

Also I think you see many of the hoods left closed just because I don't really think normal people need to have it functional. I mean if we don't cut em' out is it going to make our stock GT's overheat in traffic...no. Does it look nice? Yes..Is it really worth the hassle? Not to me..
