My friend has a 93 Aerostar v6. Theres a blue box located under the dash next to the fuse box and its making a wierd chirping noise. I have no idea what its for but it has two connectors plugged into it. May you find out what it does.

Its the lager sized Aerostar Minivan and has rear air. I tried to look for some numbers but I would have to remove the box to take a closer look. Do you have a locations diagram for electronics under the dash?

ok, sea if you can because it looks like it could be aftermarket added-on A/C system as the red wires in that pic comming out of the blue box are all the same color and FoMoCo would never do that, they would be a different color wth a tracer strip on it
