Well, that sucks. Cant do the nitrous tune now, I had completly forgotten that our cars are returnless fuel system and that a standard walbro gs341 pump want work :-( so needless to say it seems Im stuck on motor unless I can get the standalone system hooked up tonight to cover the n20.

230rwhp/350tq all under 4500rpm's

I was digging through some parts and had forgot I had these made up. I thought some of you guys might be interested in them.

When I was doing my build I was shooting for 5.4l "B" series DOHC and was going to use a Sullivan carb intake with two sets of adapters. This set of adapters(unfinished) was going to be the "KNIFE" edge needed for the port split. And the second set was going to be the port matching of the mismatched ports. All the bolt holes are the same between the "B" and "C" series heads for the intake. After I would have made all the adapters there would have been 3 intake gaskets used per side. One for the "B: head, one "special" for the adapters, and one for the "C" shape intake.

If these sparks some ideas and you think you could use them, give me a PM. I'm all about trading, but a little cash is just as good. I am a big collector of 5.4l parts. Aftermarket or stock, just let me know.

Long shot I know but anyone have a hayes or chilton manual for a 99 mustang? My maxi26 fuse keeps blowing and would like to atleast narrow the issue down. This seems like its gonna keep me from hitting the dyno! Ive had the worst luck the last day getting the car ready for the dyno, until this point I had had no issues(other than the loose coolant hose) now I am supposed to be going to the dyno in the am and all this is happening!

just about to.

You can use a delete kit so you can keep your belt or get a shorter belt. As for pulling all the crap out... just pull it out. There should be a value in your tune your tuner should alter to clean up the little things but it's optional.

bolt cutters would be a common redneck way of getting rid of the pressure side. IIRC there's a schrader type valve with a green cover you can release the pressure from too.

as for that... I have strong opinions about PCV deletes. If you just stabbed breather filters in each of the valve covers well... I'd be a sad panda. This isn't the forum to have a long technical discussion of it but with a blower in place and one of my dual-stage centri-centric PCV filter kits you'd have your PCV in place working right and even adding a little hp if you're lucky.

My $.02: Some blower kits delete the PCV system. I think that's because their engineers couldn't come up with a way to keep the PCV elbow from blowing off under boost and at the same time not to have to explain oily impeller blades to customers. My shizzle treats both issues and protects against PCV blowouts while retaining the basic function of the PCV and there's a plus for blower cars that NA cars just don't get... a little overall vacuum in the crankcase while under boost. Pulling vacuum in the bottom end is a known way to squeeze out a few more hp.

EDIT: Blower centric versions of my kit are a bit more substantial than the one pictured and include check valves and pre-filters for enhanced filtering performance.

You da friggin man with guesses.

Got the car on the dyno after thrashing all day friday(missed that appt) finding and fixing the issue(turned out to be a pinched wire going to the radio suppressor, whos idea it was to put that inline with the CCRM I have no clue) and installing the nitrous fri night, going to bed at 3am, getting back up at 6:30am, driving 3.5 hours to the dyno the damn clutch had VERY bad slip. As in, I can give it 1/3rd throttle in any gear and it slips, needless to say in goes another clutch and no nitrous pulls today

Car managed to somehow make 330rwtq@2400rpms and 220whp@2900rpms while . I am guessing it should make 260/360, and since its a mustang dyno that "should" be roughly 286/396 on a regular dynojet! Damn sure a damn impressive number to say the least since the only mods are a x pipe, flowmasters and a k&n filter. IMO thats the cheapest/safest tq that can be made on these cars. 286/396 is just insane to say the least! I figured 10% diff, some say as high as 15% diff some say 8%, i figure 10% correction factor from the mustangdyno to the dynojet should be fairly close. Could go +/-10ish hp I would guess. The numbers I am using are where it just happened to grab, guess it could have still been slipping there too.
On a 175 shot, I would guess it will be pretty damn close to 461/600 on a dynojet. What more can you ask for? Cant wait to get the clutch and head back down! I guess that extra comp helped more than I thought. BTW, this was with stock timing, but I woudl wager that with 11:1 comp, anymore than stock timing and it will detinate. Might detinate a little with a good clutch and have to back it down a degree who knows.

Id be worried about buying that. Could have drove it far enough that the crank cant be turned. Might need to be line honed to clean up the mains too if ran long enough depending on what let go. I have a crank that cant be turned and a block that needs decking, line honing and cleaned up now. Let me tell you to have all that done aint cheap!

Thats why its at $5.50 right now, but it'd be worth it in spare parts, timing cover ect.

Whats the word on the 5.4 intake?? What about the longtubes? Would a stock 5.4 2v be worth swapping in?? Im going with yes but you made 50 hp/tq over a 4.6 and that makes me wonder....
