Idle problem

Checked header to midpipe connections/midpipe to catback connections, anything like that? Are your front O2 sensors in good shape. They determine your a/f, so if one is going bad there is a chance you might have this issue.

I have a 94 plus 8 morgan and i had the same exact problem. it wont start jumping arround untill it heats up right? well anyway i atarted buy changing the fuel filter and putting some fuel injector cleaner in the fuel. then i checked the MAF for oil or dirt. then i took off the intake plenum and cleaned it with Carb R cleaner. after that it seems to be alot better only it idles a little higher. i will let you know if i find a way to fix it.
i know that this is on a morgan, but it could be the same problem! who knows.

exhaust leak leading to a rich condition? could be going pig rich at idle trying to get the skyroketing O2 levels under control. FWIR rich at idle @ normal operating temp = bad. With your foot in it it'll feel slower than normal and at idle it'll try to die.
Another thought is vacuum leak. I had one at one point and at first the car would just try to die at idle now and then, then it through a code, then it wouldn't idle at all, had to ride the gas to keep it going. Fixed the leak, problem went away.
