Default Tuner advice

Hi i just ordered my mrt o/r h pipe and have plans on doing gears in a couple weeks.. anyways i want to know if i should just go ahead and get a tuner like the sct 2 right now so i could turn of the check engine light without getting the mil eliminators and paying for them. Will the tuner be all i need for the gear install also? thanks

Yes it will be all you need. You might be able to get 2 tunes,1 without the gears and the other for when you install the gears.

you only need one tune, and when you get the gears and you plug the tuner in, you can manipulate the paramerters. It will give you an option for gears. dont pay for another tune

Or you can just buy the sct2 from places that offer free updates for life, like I did.

Im not paying 500 dollars to squeeze an extra 5 horsepower out of my setup. Ill just spend 300 more and have 120 more at the push of a button.

who said you have to pay that much for a dyno tune. Infact a lot of times, if you buy the tuner from the shop that has the dyno, they will throw your car up there and tune it for free included with the buy.
